Located on the coast of Sanbangsan Mountain, it is named after the dragon’s head. On the surface, it is a standard but narrow passage down the beach to a long, layered sandstone rock. It is a volcanic tuff layer formed by an underwater explosion 1.8 million years ago. It is 600m long and 20m high basalt. On the right side of the coast is a semi-circular quiet black sand beach.

According to legend, the Chinese emperor of Qin Shihuangdi, who knew that the king would be born in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.
The Chinese emperor of Qin Shihuangdi sent the armed forces to stop the blood of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. The armed forces the veins of the royal support here and cut off the dragon’s tail and tails with a knife. Then, the blood swelled up and stained the surroundings to become what it is now. After completing their mission, the armed forces lost their lives in a typhoon due to the anger of the god of Hallasan while trying to sail out to Chagwi Island.

On the way down the coast is the Hamel Drift Monument, which was built in 1653 to commemorate the wreck of a Hamel-wrecked ship.
And Hamel Drift Monument was founded in 1980 by the Korea International Cultural Association and the Dutch Embassy in Korea.

There are many tourist attractions such as Songaksan Mountain, Jeju Sculpture Park, Hwasun Beach, and Marado.

Jeju Island is called the Hawaii of Asia. Jeju Island is the largest island in South Korea.

The natural beauty of the Jeju island has a unique and mysterious figure that can not see another area of South Korea. Sea of Jeju Island is distinctly different from the mainland. No matter how glamorous that doesn’t get enough of to go sea of Jeju Island

Black pork and noodle with pork is special. Seafood also is very famous. Jeju Olle-soju from Jeju can taste only in Jeju Island

Where to Stay

Jeju Island has a lot of comfortable accommodation. But, Area Selection is critical. We recommend a location close to the airport whenever possible. Of course, we respect your choice. Please note that the outside of Jeju city downtown is subject to an additional charge. In particular, the Seongsan area will incur an additional charge of 50,000 KRW.

How to Get Around

There is no subway or train on Jeju Island. Uber is illegal to service in South Korea. For foreigners, taxis and buses are useful for transportation. Car hire can also be a great alternative.
